THE K's

THE K's

If you haven’t encountered The K’s impassioned bangers, catch up: In the last 12 months alone they’ve sold out a UK Tour and just recently sold every ticket for their upcoming 2700 cap Manchester Academy show in 24 hours. They opened the Main Stage to 8000 people at Neighbourhood Festival, opened the Isle of Wight Festival Main Stage, as well as the Leeds and Reading & Kendal Calling Festival Main stages. They tore the roof down at this year's Tramlines, with hundreds unable to get into the big top to see them play and have played before Liam Gallagher in Greece as well as supporting Mancunian stalwarts James in Spain and US icons Blondie on a large UK outdoor show.

Their streams are also getting comfortably in the millions - not bad for a band from Warrington’s sunny Earlestown. Their gigs are a guaranteed riot, with the recent 13 date sellout UK & Ireland tour leading them to being asked to put in a Royal Albert Hall appearance with Kasabian on their day off. This pulsing live reputation shouldn’t overlook the sophistication that gives The K’s their immediately identifiable blueprint though. Their debut single Sarajevo is one of the few rock & roll songs to namecheck Austro-Hungary, whilst notching up over 5 million streams in the process.. and their recent 2023 release ‘Hoping Maybe’ has become a phone-lights-on live anthem that reached no2 on the itunes chart, kept off the top spot only by the unbudging Miley Cyrus’ record breaking single ‘Flowers’.

So where next? The band appeared as main support for recent tour by UK No 1 album success story that is ‘The Reytons’ - taking in arenas, warehouses and Academy venues - have sold out 4 headline shows themselves in November taking in 5000 ticket sales and have recently signed an album deal with the quietly very successful and cool Manchester indie label LAB Records. Upon recently finishing their debut album for LAB, scheduled for a March 2024 release  it is clear that with each new release The K’s will just keep growing. A cult sensation, an irresistible, irrefutable spirit, welcoming to anyone who wants to join and escape into a better, more hopeful world. After all, they’ll be playing all your favorite songs.. “put em on, put emon, put em on, put em on”
