As volunteers entrusted with the smooth flow of traffic and the organization of parking spaces, we are essential to ensuring that every festival-goer's arrival is seamless and stress-free. Our goal is to create an efficient and safe parking experience, allowing attendees to focus on enjoying the festivities without worry. With dedication, communication, and a commitment to excellent service, we'll guide vehicles to their designated spots, manage traffic congestion, and uphold the festival's overall logistical integrity. Together, let's kick off this event with a warm welcome and a smooth start for all who join us for the rhythm and revelry ahead.

 

Duties:

• Directing vehicles to available parking spaces in a safe and orderly manner.

• Assisting drivers with parking procedures and providing guidance when necessary.

• Monitoring designated parking areas to ensure compliance with parking regulations and event guidelines.

• Managing traffic flow to prevent congestion and maintain a smooth flow of vehicles.

• Communicating effectively with event organizers, fellow stewards, and drivers to coordinate parking logistics.

• Providing excellent customer service to attendees by answering questions and offering assistance as needed.

• Assisting in the setup and dismantling of parking equipment and signage before and after events.

• Responding calmly and efficiently to any parking-related issues or emergencies that may arise.

• Reporting any safety hazards, incidents, or violations to the appropriate personnel.

• Representing Pine Festival in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

 

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.

• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling assigned shifts.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.

• Basic understanding of parking regulations and traffic management principles (training will be provided).

• Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Physically capable of standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving lightweight equipment.

• Previous experience in customer service or event management is preferred but not required.
