Welcome to the Alternates Team, an essential part of this year's dynamic music festival! As volunteers on standby, our role is to ensure seamless operations and support various aspects of the event as needed. Whether stepping in for scheduled volunteers, assisting with last-minute tasks, or providing relief where it's most needed, our flexibility and readiness are key to maintaining the festival's momentum. With a positive attitude and adaptability, we stand ready to tackle any challenge and contribute to the festival's success. Together, let's embody the spirit of collaboration and keep the music playing smoothly for all attendees to enjoy.

 

Duties:

​

• Be available to step in and fulfill volunteer roles as assigned by festival organizers on short notice.

• Assist with various tasks such as ticketing, merchandise sales, artist hospitality, stage setup, information booths, and crowd control.

• Provide support to primary volunteers and festival staff to ensure the efficient and effective execution of event activities.

• Maintain a flexible schedule and be prepared to work in different areas of the festival grounds as needed.

• Follow instructions and guidelines provided by festival organizers and supervisors to fulfill assigned duties.

• Communicate effectively with fellow volunteers, festival staff, and attendees to coordinate efforts and address any issues that may arise.

• Represent Pine Festival with professionalism and enthusiasm, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

• Remain adaptable and responsive to changing circumstances and priorities throughout the duration of the festival.

• Uphold the values and standards of the festival, including promoting safety, inclusivity, and respect for all participants.

 

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, during the festival dates.

• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to respond promptly to volunteer assignment requests.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to changing roles and responsibilities.

• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the festival experience in any capacity needed.

• Previous volunteer experience or experience working in events is preferred but not required.

• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods.
